Outsource Industries, Inc. was contracted to produce a power select module for a customer in the electrical industry, calling on our experience in high voltage engineering. This part was custom designed, with prototypes built for customer approval utilizing our PCB and injection molding equipment. The manufactured electronic control box successfully aligned three phases of electricity for three phase motors. The unit reduces amperage draw and saves up to 35% of what the motor will draw. The module was comprehensively tested for accuracy and integrity, with internal testing along with tests carried out by the customer and the UL.

Dimensions of the completed part were 14” x 10” x 8”, produced holding a tight tolerance of .002”. Our facilities were used for production scale volume, manufacturing 5,000 parts for the customer in Indiana after a turnaround time of 60 to 90 days.
